Appalachian Heritage Day Miamia Whitewater Forest

Celebrate an American culture at Appalachian Heritage Day in Miami Whitewater Forest on Saturday, August 7. The whole family can come out to Miami Whitewater Forest Harbor from 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. for a day of bluegrass music, traditional food and craft demonstrations.

Great bluegrass bands will take the stage beginning at 1:30 p.m. with “Tom and Missy Strothers.” Tom and Missy are mountain dulcimer players and teachers. They will be providing the kick off entertainment for Appalachian Heritage Day and will also be on site as demonstrators and vendors to answer you questions about the mountain dulcimer.
